Jazz guitarist based in Amsterdam Netherlands,
Born in Athens Greece, Dimitrios entered the UK jazz scene and started working professionally in music since 2017. Since then he has studied with some great names in jazz including: Jesse van Ruller, Peter Bernstein, Michael Kanan, Seamus Blake, Jimmy Wormworth.
After being offered a place to study at Leeds College of Music (2014-2017), Dimitrios studied under Jiannis Pavlidis and attended classes under the direction of Steve Fishwick, Ivo neame(Phronesis). Graduated with an Honours Degree and was awarded the highest mark of the instrument in his recital performance. In 2017 Dimitrios was offered a scholarship to attend the Begues Jazz Camp in Barcelona, taking classes with icons such as Peter Bernstein, Seamus Blake, Jorge Rossi and Jimmy Wormworth. Also he was awarded a place at The Global Music Foundation in London, where he had the opportunity to study and play with world class musicians Bruce Barth and Perico Sambeat.
In 2024, he aquired his masters in jazz music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam studying under Jesse van Ruller and Martijn Van Iterson. While being based in Amsterdam, Dimitrios has been performing across the Netherlands and Greece with several projects including his own.
